Curious Case of the Pizza Club Not Caring About Cx

Here’s a CX tale from one of my friends, Manoaj Lazar. Manoaj keeps exploring new places to eat and is also the admin of one of Chennai’s most prominent food groups on Facebook. Knowing the pains business owners go through in setting up the restaurant business, he rarely writes a negative review, following the adage - “if you don’t have something nice to say, better not say anything.” When he does write a negative review, he tones it down and makes it as constructive as possible and addresses the business directly, rather than spamming all the social media groups with an intention to generate the maximum negative publicity.

The CX Tale of Absolute Barbecues, Velachery

We went for a team lunch to Absolute Barbecues, Velachery (link redirects to my past review of the place) few days back. From the start to end, the steward was quite attentive and kept on checking if we’re alright or if something needs to be changed, leaving us in awe about their eagerness to impress the guests. The next day afternoon, I received a call from the ABs team to check if everything was right or if I’ve any feedback for improvement.
